In these terms, "Recrusr", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Recrusr Oy. "You" refers to you as a candidate using the platform.

2. Who can use Recrusr

You can use Recrusr if you are at least 16 years old, have the legal capacity to agree, and are not prohibited from using the service under applicable law.

3. Your account

To use Recrusr's main features, you need to create an account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, email hello@recrusr.com.

Please keep only one active candidate account.

4. What Recrusr does

Recrusr is a platform that helps connect candidates with employers. You upload your CV, we use AI to build a structured profile from it, and employers looking for matching candidates can discover you.

Recrusr is not a recruitment agency or employment agency. We do not make hiring decisions — employers do. We do not guarantee that using Recrusr will result in any interview or job offer.

You can control your profile visibility through your account settings.

5. What you can and cannot do

Please:

• Be truthful about your background, education, and experience
• Use Recrusr lawfully and respectfully

Please do not:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or other rights
• Try to break into the platform or interfere with how it operates
• Use bots or scrapers without our written permission
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation
• Discriminate against, harass, or harm other users

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you upload, including your CV and profile information. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display your content so we can operate the service and present you to employers according to your visibility settings.

This licence ends when you delete the relevant content or your account, except for routine backups and anonymised data that no longer identifies you.

7. Our role and limits

Recrusr is a technology platform. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" — we do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be perfect or uninterrupted.

We use AI to read your CV and build your profile. AI can make mistakes. You can review your profile and let us know if anything looks wrong. Final hiring decisions are made by humans (employer clients), not by Recrusr's AI.

If an AI-generated outcome significantly affects you, you can email hello@recrusr.com to ask for a human to review it.

8. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Notice, which is part of these terms. Please read it.

9. Limits on our liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Recrusr is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses (such as lost opportunities, lost data, or lost earnings).

Our total liability under these terms is limited to the greater of (a) what you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) €100. Since the service is free for candidates, the €100 floor applies.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for things the law does not let us limit — such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer under Finnish or EU law are not affected by these terms.

10. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@recrusr.com.

We can suspend or end your account if you breach these terms, give us false information, pose a security or legal risk, or if we are required to do so by law. Where reasonable, we will let you know first.

11. Disputes and applicable law

These terms are governed by Finnish law.

If we have a dispute, we will first try to resolve it through informal discussion. If that does not work, the courts of Finland will decide, with the District Court of Pirkanmaa (Pirkanmaan käräjäoikeus) as the court of first instance.

If you live in another EU or EEA country, you retain your local consumer-protection rights and may bring proceedings in your local court. You can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and through the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. You are welcome to close your account at no cost if you do not agree.
